Freshwater Nugget Pearl String, 11mm

These superb freshwater nugget pearls have a very good lustre and their rounded edges make for a warm and intriguing necklace or bracelet when paired with a sympathetic clasp.

At 11–12mm these are generously sized pearls with a pleasing weight and presence on the wrist or neck. The nugget shape — broader and flatter than a round pearl, with gently undulating edges — means each one sits slightly differently on the strand, catching light at its own angle and giving a finished piece a natural, unhurried rhythm. The silvery-white lustre is particularly striking on pearls of this size, lending them an understated sophistication that works as well with a casual outfit as it does with something more formal.
