These highly translucent teardrop beads have been hand-carved into a teardrop shaped with a faceted surface to catch the light as they twist and turn.

Amethyst has been prized by jewellers and collectors for centuries, and it is not difficult to see why. These beautifully hand-carved teardrop beads display that characteristic deep, saturated violet, rich and luminous, with a translucency that allows light to pass through the stone and emerge transformed.

The faceted surface multiplies this effect dramatically, each tiny cut face catching and scattering light as the beads move, so that a finished necklace or bracelet seems almost to shimmer with its own inner fire.
